I was visiting Highland Park because my daughters moved there and I was in the mood for some pho and I found K5. I live in San Jose California so I have a very high expectation for pho. K5 didn't disappoint. It was as good if not better than anywhere I've had in the Bay Area highly recommend it. I had the seafood pho spring egg rolls, and I took home a Vietnamese sandwich. It was legit all of it.
My fiancé and I were looking for a nearby go-to pho place and stumbled across K5 recently during our search. The pho and banh mi looked delicious so we decided to give it a try. Happy to report that K5 was amazing and was just what were looking for! Both times that we have gone we have not had to wait, but I can easily see there being a wait here. We had pho during both of our visits, but changed up our side dish. During our first visit we had beef banh mi and and order of the egg rolls on our second. Both were phenomenal and would get again! The service was speedy, friendly, and the price was pretty standard for all items.
Fast service & good tasty menu especially the pho! Ive dined in a few times and ambience is busy but happy people enjoying food & company.
We loved the richness of the broth and the quality of the meat selections! Got rare steak and brisket with pork and shrimp spring rolls. Service was fast and workers were very friendly.
When you walk into this restaurant, you can immediately expect some really good pho. We were seated almost right we walked in. I would have to say the smell of fish and wet towel was pretty strong after being seated for about 5 minutes. Nevertheless, I ordered the House Special Pho and it was decent. I would have to say that the noodles were pretty chewy and I just felt like there was something missing. I've had very good pho before but this is maybe a close top second or third. I would say coming here again would be difficult because it was really hard to ignore that smell. Maybe it was just that one day we went. Don't knock it till ya try it. Good food though.
Went to K5 on a Friday night since we were craving some Pho (for the first time), and had a great experience. Located in the Eaglerock area (where there are not too many pho options), K5 is one of the pho options you should add to your rotation. Good service, good food (especially on a cold night), and reasonable prices. The location is pretty large, but it gets pretty crowded (at least it was when we were there). Plenty of parking since it is a large plaza. One of the better pho options in the area. Tip: It was a little crowded on a Friday night so we had to wait a little bit before being seated (not too long, like 5 mins).
Casual dining. I like their combo pho! I usually ask for extra onions on the side. Quick and friendly service. Large menu. Free parking in the shared lot.
I've ordered lunch take out a few times and they have been consistently very good. I've only tried their vermicelli plates and they were comparable to ones I've had at pho restaurants in Westminster. Their egg rolls are savory, crunchy, and so delicious. I'll be back to try their other menu items. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center.
